Built over 30 years ago, by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, this orphanage takes care of baby elephants, whose mothers have either abandoned them or have been killed by poachers.

    I think that its great that they are trying to help the elephants. I think that another good step is that if they haven't already done so, try to set up reinforcements to stop poaching

          It's definitely wrong that poachers have to disturb the balance. They should've just let mother nature do it's job!

            this foundation is amazing and I really hope that they can expand to a bigger part of Africa!!!

              I think that it is nice of the foundation to send the elephants to Kenya's largest National Park, Tsavo National Park once they are ready to be released so they are not traumatized when they are released into the wild.

                I think there should be more of these to help the baby elephants and increase the population.

                  I think if there were at the lest, one in each state, this will help increase the population of elephants.

                    If there were more organizations like this one, we would be able to save so many animals from becoming extinct!
