While the soil of our favorite Red Planet may now seem arid and inhospitable- one where water is scarce or non-existent, this may not have been the case, billions of years ago.

I think that they should keep looking because if they found water on Mars back then, there is a possible chance that the side of the planet we search is dry but the other side might have water. Thats why i think that they should keep looking.

I think erosion happened millions of years ago on mars. Maybe it used to be a lush blue. Erosion maybe from a different planet that we don't know of. It could been a dry planet with sand. Or their used to be water but it got dried up and got very dry. I'm not sure if my predictions are right but scientists should do a lot of research on it. Or maybe we should send someone to mars or send a machine .

I know there is weathering and erosion on Mars because one evidence is the University of Illinois showed prof of valleys on Mars. Another reason I know there is weathering and erosion on Mars because professor Wei Lou found rivers. I think that Mars was at one point blue .

I think that there was water on mars. I think that there is was water on mars because scientists have seen that there are canyons and marks of where the water used to be. The scientists have also seen weathering and erosion.Thats why I think there was water on mars.

The article was interesting. It was cool that there was water on Mars. If there was water there could of bean life. The water also caused weathering and erosion on Mars. That caused dozens canyons. The technology told us that. I hope it can tells us more.

The evidence from the article to support the idea that erosion and weathering took place on Mars was that the article said that software technology "showed evidence of dozens of valleys, more than twice as many, as was thought in the past. This proves that erosion washed away the valleys that were once there." The article also said that "scientist now believe that a large number of valleys is proof that many years ago Mars may have indeed received regular rainfall with swelled the rivers and topped the oceans just like it happens on Earth."

I think it was interesting that Mars had water on the planet. Maybe there was life on Mars.

I think it is very i interesting that there is water on mars because that gives possibility for life on mars. there is also erosion on ,mars just like there is on earth . maybe they will find out if there is life on mars and be 100percent correct. i hope they find out more about what on mars is happening her on earth too.
