While it may not appear to be so - Thanks to all the equipment and television screens, not to mention the bright lights, constant air-conditioning or heating, gyms are big energy users - A little ironic when you consider how much energy people expand whilst working out. Though there has been some sporadic attempts to harness the energy, nobody has taken it to the level of Portland-based Green Microgym.

- Mrshowstopper13년 이하I like this because of several different reasons. One reason is that I'm learning about energy. Another reason is is that i like how the owner of the gym is thinking. Lastly I actually think that members should get a discount for a certain amount of wats powered.
- baylee13년 이하it think it is is very interesting. i like the idea because they have to work for what they want. normally people just give you what they want. it is cool that some technology is getting more efficient. i like that YOU have to work for what you want. also people have to exercise people in the u.s are to overweight nowadays.
- Tyler b.13년 이하I think this is a really smart idea. But at the same time it's a bad idea. Reasons it is a good idea is they are taking advantage of their 200+ members. It's a bad idea because people already pay to get in and now they have to power about half the place.I don't know how all of the members feel about this but i'm not quite sure how i feel but i honestly don't care how they get energy weather it's from coal plants or hamsters running in a wheel.
