Philippe Croizon, a 42-year old French resident made history on September 19th, when he became the first quadruple amputee, to swim across the 21-mile long English Channel. What's even more impressive, is that he completed the swim in thirteen and a half hours - almost a full ten hours faster than had been expected.

      i feel so inspired by what the disabled can do, it is amazing! This one man Philippe Corizon showed everyone that even though he was shocked by lightning and had his arms and legs removed, he can still do what everyone can and can also make new records or try new things. Truly just inspiring. To me at least

          from him I know that even ifhe had hurt his arms and legs he can swim like no other. but I still feel sad for hin though. how would YOU feel if you had no ARMS OR LEGS?!?
