Scientists have been trying to re-program or genetically modify human cells for many years, with limited success. Now, it seems that a team of scientists from University of Pennslyvania's Abramson Cancer Center has finally managed to crack the code and, the initial results are quite exciting.

              Now that I think about leukemia again, I remember I read this book with a little boy that got leukemia and everyday he had to get a needle into his back, into his bone marrow, to help get out all the abnormal cells.

                This is another helpful piece of info. The doctors would be surprised if they heard another cure for a medical emergency.

                  If they get rid of leukemia that would be amazing... I know too many people who have leukemia and have died or are in serious condition in the hospital at the moment :( The disease is horrible and if they get rid of it that would be soo helpful
