World's 'Most Photographed Bridge' Turns 75!

On Monday, January 5th, the city of San Francisco kick-started a yearlong celebration to mark the 75th anniversary of one its most famous landmarks - The Golden Gate Bridge. Besides being beautiful, the 1.7 mile long bridge was for many years also, the world's longest suspension bridge.

- anonymous13년 이상I think its wonderful that we have such a great landmark in the united states such as the golden gate bridge. I do think though they should completely reenact the opening of the golden gate bridge. Including letting people through on foot. That would be awesome, reenacting the opening of the golden gate bridge and walking across the 1.7 miles of bridge. Now some people might think i'm crazy, but i would enjoy the chaos. There was probably chaos when it opened too.
