On Jan 12th, Intel announced the semi-finalists of its 2012 Annual Science Talent Search. Among the 300 high school seniors was Samantha Garvey, a bright 17-year old, who currently also happens to be, homeless.

            Very interesting!!!!!!!!!! It's cool how she did so many discoveries. That should teach us all that even if your homeless, or tight on money, or without a parent, YOU can make a difference!

              I think this article was very interesting because I never knew that one poor girl can become rich and win a lot of prizes by studying mussels. Even though she was poor and didn't have shelter she still worked on her research and made more discoveries. I would share this article because I liked it.

                This was a very inspiring, and interesting article because it is about a young 17 year old girl currently homeless but still does not give up no matter what and even though her family is struggling they should not give up either. I also hope she wins because I think she and her family deserve it. I would recommend this article to friends who also should not give up no matter what. Best wishes and luck in winning the Nobel Prize!
