What is the most unpleasant sounds to the human ear? That, was the big scientific mystery that researchers at the Welcome Trust Center for Neuroimaging at UCL and Newcastle University in England, wished to solve. So, they recruited a group of 13 people and subjected them to 74 different noises that we encounter in our everyday lives.

- Me약 11년I also hate it when dull pencils are writing on paper and the wood scrapes onto it. BUT I SERIOULSY HATE THIS SOUND: when little kids take markers ( especially the ones that are running out of ink) AND SEVERELY SCRIBBLE AND QUICKLY DRAW WITH THEM. THAT. SOUND. IS. NOT. BEARABLE. seriously. AT ALL.
- Me약 11년strange thing was, the sounds I listened to ( above) irritated me only a little. They were mostly bearable. I guess it's because I don't actually see them doing it....
- Me약 11년I hate fingers scratching trampolines, seat belts, car ceilings ( unless they are leather ) , car seats ( unless they are leather), forks on plates, and sharp things on chalkboards. They give me chills and irritate my teeth.
