Over 150 years ago, thousands of people flocked to California to try make their fortune panning for gold. Now, the hunt is on again. However, this time around it's not for sparkly flecks of the precious metal, but fragments of a meteor that made a fiery entry to earth on April 22nd, 2012.

- mrawesome13년 이상This article about the falling meteorite is my favorite. I like it for several reasons. First, it really makes me wonder how scientists are able to monitor what comes into our atmosphere. I also liked the way they have pieces of this meteorite on display in a museum or science lab. Lastly, I like to think about how long that meteorite was probably floating around in space and where it may have originated from. I hope all future meteors falls in places were there are no people!
