They decided to take a real cockroach and off the shelve electronics, to move through the rubble. Cockroaches can squeeze through the tiniest spots. In laboratory test the cockroaches seem to work perfectly, but a lot more has to be done. I learned that they have been around before dinosaurs. I also learned that the cockroaches can hold their breath for 40 minutes. Lastly I learned that cockroaches can live up to a week with their heads cut off.

I learned that cockroaches can hold there breath for 40 mins. I dint know that they can live for 1 week with their heads chopped off. The electronics weighed 7 grams.

I didnt know that cockroaches can live up to a week after getting their heads cut off. I also didnt know that cockroaches can hold their breath up to 40 min. I also leared that cockroaches are one of the oldest living creachers. they live around the time of dinosores.
