How would you feel if you walked into your local public library and instead of hundreds of shelves laden with all kinds of exciting books, you encountered a modern interior that resembles an Apple store complete with aisles of computers and other electronic gadgets? That, is exactly the vision Nelson Wolff has for BiblioTech, a new kind of public library that is scheduled to open in San Antonio's Bexar County, in fall 2013.

purpledonut133약 11년I am in grade 5 right now and as you get into older grades, you tend to be online more. A library is a place to learn language and enjoy flipping pages full of beautiful literature. If they turn libraries into a computer lab, where can you get books poems and so much more other that with spending money. I say to keep reading and libraries physical. NOT VIRTUAL AND ONLINE. ( Plus, if somebody goes to the "e-library" they could search up anything they want) KEEP LIBRARIES PHYSICAL. If you agree, please follow me and reply.

nikukyu약 11년I vote for books! But I do own a Kindle...- SCIENCE CRUSHER약 11년I like electronics, but the the actual turning of pages feels more physical and I don't want people becoming more lazy. They are already becoming unhealthy by becoming couch potatoes at a scary rate. And I want to read something that is made of real stuff than just binary code on an app.
