While spending eight years in the White House may sound glamorous, life for Malia and Sasha Obama cannot be that much fun. After all, which teen/tween likes to sit through long boring speeches, be constantly hounded by the media and worst of all, have some secret service agent constantly watching all their movements? But, every now and again the job of being America's 'first girls' does bring some perks - One of which happens to be the 'Kid's Inauguration Ball', a tradition started by President Obama, where the girls get to invite and hobnob with music stars of their choice.

charger12년 이상When I was younger, I thought that being First Lady or First Daughter would be amazing. But I got older and thought about all of the complications. You would never get any privacy, always being shadowed by bodyguards, and everyone staring at you when you go out in public. But this is to help them feel better. Obama did a great thing when he decided to start this tradition.
violinia2712년 이상You're right charger. I thought the same thing in past years, but know I realize that it is not all fun and glory being part of the First Family. It would also be very stressful considering you would be followed around by secret service all the time. But some things are fun like having a bowling alley and movie theater in you home.
