  That's great! but... what about the people behind the car? If the breaks go off with out that much warning the the traffic behind the car that could cause a pretty nasty crash. potentially even more casualties.

  This is pretty cool, considering the fact that over a million people die every year due to bicycle accidents. Mostly in Japan. My friend's parents were driving in a taxi and the taxi driver just ran over the guy, not even making sure ifhe was okay or not.
