Imagine lighting a fire to a hard-packed snowball or the mud deep inside the ocean bed. While that may sound impossible, it is not only feasible, but the government of Japan believes that they can use this energy to fuel the entire country, for at least a century.

    i think this is really cool before i read this i didnt think this was really possible. apperintly it has been possible sence the 1800s. it sounds like the make it by putting cemicals in the ice or snow as some people call it. anyways like me i said before i think this is really cool.

      Well I think this is very cool. How ever do we really need to make fire with dry ice? I'm just saying, you don't have to listen to my opinion. We can just light a match and throw it on the fire if we want not lighting dry ice one fire. It's a wast of time because the dry ice would cost lots of money, also we will run out of dry ice. We would also need oil to make the dry ice catch on fire.
