Canadians companies sure seem to know how to appreciate their customers. First there was WestJet Airlines that dished out Christmas presents and now, The Toronto-Dominion Bank, which recently transformed the normally staid Automated Teller Machines into Automated Thanking Machines, that showered customers with surprise gifts.

From tickets to Disneyland to a baseball player-all are a big thanks for people that were customers for a long time and had a sad moment or memory. But the "thanks" are reasonable too. Dorthy got tickets to go to Trinidad because her daughter had a cancer treatment there. Michael got a lot of Toronto Blue Jay keepsakes because he was a fan of the team.
