  I immensely hope that there will be more developments towards the subject of autism. Sadly, the disorder & its symptoms have affected many lives. I take pity on those who are incapable of achieving what in our perspective, is simply an everyday task. We should all have gratitude, for none of us were that 1 in 88 children.

  Schools should really teach children about autism, so kids would understand what autism is and know why other kids with autism act like they do. They wouldn't be made fun of or other things like that.

  my neighbors have 2 children with autism, and they are their only children. i feel bad for them because on the bus no one sits next to them or in a seat near them, its like a circle of empty seats :( i try to sit with them sometimes but they just say "leave us alone" :'(

  I know some people with autism and sometimes it makes me sad to think that they can't do some of the things I can. But maybe one day there will be a cure so that people with autism can live better lives and not have disability's that make it so they can't do certain things.

    You shouldn't pity those with Autism! Try to treat them the way you would treat anyone else. It really hurts their feelings when people treat them like little kids.
