  Ok I have autism too and the doctors said it was from three of the gene mutations and they also said it was a rare combination.

  Sara- While that is an interesting theory, that can only work if such a thing a 'Evolution' exists. UseYourHeart- I never said I was set apart. I just insinuated that. However, I wasn't set apart, I was just treated different and was the blame for most things that I didn't even do. To everyone else: While Autism can be bad, you guys are blowing it WAY out of proportion. It's not that bad, unless you can't control it. Sadly, there is no cure, but you guys are like 'Oh my gosh, Autism will soon spread to everyone! We'll have a pandemic!' and while it can spread, it's only genetically transferred. I'm not trying to offend anyone, but you guys are making a HUGE deal out of it. Remember- Kids with Autism may be 'Different' but we just want to be treated like normal kids!

  I have this crazy theory and rarely mention it publicly, never to friends with autistic kids. This study is in line with my crazy idea. Anyway we all know we have to evolve to survive. whIch is beyond amazing we are hard wired to achieve this!! So I have thought for a while now that this sudden burst of autism is in preparation for our quickly advancing future. This study fits perfectly. The fact that it's is not an inherited DNA problem. Something external is mutating the DNA and children are able to be grouped by this tells me there is a social factor. Call me crazy but I see survival of the fittest all over this!'n
