On Saturday April, 25th, a little before noon local time, the tiny landlocked country of Nepal was jolted by a massive earthquake. The 7.8 magnitude tremor that was felt across four countries and affected over 6.6 million people, is the most powerful one the country has experienced in over eight decades. Not surprisingly, it has resulted in a large number of deaths and extensive property damage.

Other areas that got impacted as well were Northern India, Tibet, Bangladesh, and Mount Everest. 2) To help prepare people there for an earthquake. They were sure there was going to be an earthquake, but the miscalculated the time the earthquake was going to happen. 3) Nepal is so prone to earthquakes because they are at the junction of the Indian and Eurasian plate and the collision that caused the Himalayas is why they have earthquakes all the time. They're tremors are worse because they are an impoverished country which makes the country not able to rebuild everything because they do not have the money.

Because they had to help prepare the congested city for a big tremor, physically and geologically what happened is exactly what we thought would happen, the timing. 3.) They are very close to the fault and the two plates, they live right next to the crack of two major plates.
