When Pluto was demoted to dwarf status in 2006, we were left with a mere eight planets in our solar system. Now Planetary Astronomy Professor Mike Brown, the researcher responsible for 'killing' Pluto may have redeemed himself with the discovery of a massive ninth planet - One he believes is worthy of being added to the elite group of eight.

Leo has a good point, all of the planets that are in our solar system except Earth, is named after a Greek god, though, I believe that we do this to somehow show our solar system is like a group of gods but Earth is special, Earth, meaning ground, is supposed to act as a haven for all, and this new planet, if it is real, should be named after a god of knowledge, to show not everything is as it seems and that you should never give up, also, Mercury and Hermes are the same god, one is just a Roman name for the messenger god.
