When humans began Space exploration about 55 years ago, they had no intention of leaving behind equipment that had served its purpose. It could after all, easily fall to Earth and harm innocent people. But that fear subsided in 1964 when American research satellite Vanguard 1 continued to rotate in orbit even after it had lost all contact with ground scientists. Since then researchers have become increasingly comfortable about leaving trash behind.

- mason10년 이하its a good idea but i don't think its worth it. it can only take 1 piece of junk with it at a time it would cost less just to send a bomb up there and blow the junk out of our orbit compared to strapping this thing to a A300 jet 300 times to accomplish the same thing.
- alejandrodunnie10년 이하The atmosphere is too thin up there for the after shock to push the debris that much.
billbobsara110년 이하i like the pac-man- Dodo Pro10년 이하bet you didnt know that the universe is accelerating expansion massively. oh and earth may be doomed by the galactic merger coming our way, if galactic cannibalism happens. not to mention that earth is staring down the barrel of a gamma ray blast.
- Dodo Pro10년 이하uhhhh people. i see the idea, but what about something that 1 has energy, and 2 destroys more than a single piece of trash headed garbage junk. just a simple suggestion. criticize me as you like.
