As you are firming up your summer plans, you may want to pencil in the total solar eclipse on August 21. Dubbed the “Great American Eclipse,” it is not just the first total solar eclipse visible from the contiguous United States since February 26, 1979, but also the first that can be seen across the country, from the Pacific to the Atlantic, in almost a century. The last time the celestial phenomenon was experienced coast-to-coast was on June 8, 1918!

glowinq_stxrs약 5년Back in 4th grade I get to see the solar eclipse it was cool and we get to stay in a 2nd grade classroom to wait for our turn and I wish I could see it again now, it was 2 years ago I wish it can happen again for 6th grade. I’m going to be in 7th grade next year and I had to admit 6th grade is fun but what should’ve been even fun, was for the solar eclipse to happen again :]
animereina2021약 5년I got to see this solar eclipse! What was coincidental was that it had happened right around when I just moved to Georgia. It was so cool! It went dark for a moment, and everyone that was out to see it were screaming of joy. We wore these glasses to protect us from the sun, and even made this certain type of project that was made out of a box, so that you could look through a hole in the box, and you would be able to see the sun without eye damage. The thing was, I was in 4th grade, but now I am in 6th, almost in 7th soon after summer. Now I will be moving soon😞- 2468101214165년 이상Love 💘💘it so much.

- 🐬yay6년 이상It was so cool to watch that at my school every one had these glasses that nassa Sent my entire school district. And we All got to wach the solar eclipse it was sooo cool. But my class was in charge of watching the kindergarteners and make sure they had their glasses on at all times when they were watching so they didn’t go blind. Were I was we saw the whole eclipse and the sky went completely dark and then all the insects thought it was night and started to chirp. Soooo fun
