For most people, the mention of glitter brings back fond memories of colorful preschool and kindergarten projects. However, the sparkly material is also prevalent in everyday grown-up products like makeup, decorations, and even iPhone cases. Unfortunately, while the fairy-dust-like substance is great for lifting our spirits, it is not so good for the environment, which is why one researcher is calling for a worldwide ban.

- Wisdom약 8년Ok. There are lots of bigger issues that should be focused on more than glitter... Why was this researcher even studying this when we have bigger issues like global warming, not enough food supply, and deforestation because of the growing popultion... I get that glitter somewhat harms the environment (it can't be a huge amount at this point), but it isn't hugely affecting it right at the moment. Lets focus on the bigger things first and if this glitter thing becomes a rising problem, then focus on that.
