Science fiction thrillers frequently feature accidents that cause astronauts to float away into space. Though this has yet to happen in the real world, it is a risk every astronaut is well-aware of when embarking on a spacewalk or Extra Vehicular Activity (EVA). To prevent the nightmare scenario, space explorers are not only tethered to the spacecraft but also fitted with a backup safety kit.

I wonder if some astronauts may abuse this feature.

Some may say this is awesome and some may say this is not so smart. To me its half and half and i will tell you why. Firstly it's awesome because those people up in space they risk their lives and for them to get back home to their families must be wonderful. Lastly its bad because the astronaut could be relying on the "take me home button" and thinking its all safe but say that unfortunately he really needs to use it but next thing you know it doesn't work then what. So i think if you were going to do this make it the very best connection as possible. -DOGOHELPER
