In its purest form, gold typically requires temperatures of 1,948 degrees Fahrenheit (1,064 degrees Celsius) to liquefy. Now, a team of researchers from the Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden may have stumbled upon a way to melt the precious metal at room temperature.

    its not a waist if money they can still use the gold even if its liquid so relax guys like the other guy said they can mold it into something else and use it for money if they wanted to

                  "NEWSFLASH" No gold was wasted it was just a experiment on gold but was not thrown which is the good part, it was actully recycled and remelted into a ingot :)
