You don’t have to be a fan of math to get excited about Pi (“π”) Day. While the event, which is also Albert Einstein’s birthday (139 this year ), may start with some calculations, it is more than likely to conclude with a slice or two of delicious pie. The holiday, which celebrates the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter, is held every March 14, because the infinite number is widely recognized as 3.14.

- bookstory146년 이상I love pi! (The number and the food!) I've only got 26 digits memorized, but my sister has fifty. Fun fact: Akira Haraguchi holds the record for most digits of pi memorized. (even though Guiness World Records don't count it, they should) In 2006, he recited 100,000 digits of pi from memory at a public event near Tokyo. It took him 16 hours and 30 minutes. :P Over and out!
