On Wednesday, May 16, thousands of North Carolina educators took to the streets to protest against low teacher salaries and deteriorating school conditions. Their one-day strike is part of a growing national movement that has swept across the country since West Virginia teachers began the initiative in February.

- koreanbacongirl약 7년I can agree, teachers work really hard and if they got a low payment I would be FURIOUS! Because my teacher is always tired at the end of the day and If I found out that they got a low payment, I would march to the principals office and demand a higher payment.

- bookstory14약 7년Same here, I LOVE school. It's a chance to hang out with friends, and I'm super interested in anything that involves learning. (That's why I signed up for iDOGO.) I also really like Language Arts, but the teacher is kinda strict but she's super nice once you get to know her. People were talking about their favorite classes and when I told them I loved Language Arts they gaped.
