Though there are more than 100 Indian festivals observed annually, few are as anticipated or as popular as Diwali. Also known as Deepavali, or the Festival of Lights, the five-day celebration extends across many cultures and beliefs and is commemorated by almost a billion people worldwide. Though Diwali always falls between October and November, the festival's exact date changes in accordance with the Hindu lunar calendar.

- Courtney 5년 이상This story was so cool to read I really enjoyed it and I loved the time of year that they celebrated there holiday at.It is weird though that there is fifty days that they celebrate it at and ,its strange to me how they don"t celebrate it the other days. But its nice once and a while to be with all of your family and eat food and gather up together. They all play different games every time they join up together.
