Mini robots that can roll, fly, float, swim, and even come together to morph into a single machine, may seem like something straight out of a science fiction movie. However, if a team of NASA scientists has its way, the self-assembling Shapeshifter may soon be exploring treacherous distant worlds in search of alien life.

they should use Tungsten it would be more durable but will combust under extreme heat but still will hold up after so they should use that or titanium and I wish NASA the best of luck cuz its vary hard to construct a good peace of technology that will survive the extreme pressure :)

Very cool idea. Sadly it will take many years to make. :'( :'( They still must find a cheap way to make them but still keep them durable! The power source is still needing improvement as the power is most likely going to need solar panels. Usually there are sandstorm on mars and dust covers the pannels! They must wait to get cleaned by the wind sometimes taking days! Can't wait for this too be developed=-O =-O
