With self-driving vehicle technology rapidly advancing, many companies are turning to autonomous robots for the final leg — the so-called last mile — of the delivery process, from the store or local distribution center to the customer. The latest to join the trend is e-commerce giant Amazon. Following a successful eight-month test run in Snohomish County, Washington, the company's Scout robots have been making the rounds of Irvine, California, since August 6, 2019.

mico14약 3년Hopefully the FedEx bot will be delivering to my house soon FedEx has scratched my moms car and they are always tearing our driveway up. Then again we have a lot of strays in my neighborhood so they would just try and tear it up. The FedEx never responded to my moms complaint about them scratching her car

trickyhacker334년 이상I’m not gonna trust robots till they found a way to make the spark, or the part that makes you care(heart for humans). Still, anyone can grab it and steal it. If you arm it just makes it a more dangerous risk. I still prefer human transportation. So should you, unless you ARE the person delivering… No one likes that!- mico14약 3년If the robot gets picked up off the ground it should make a loud beep like a rumba then its only threat is animals
