On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, Americans will commemorate the 18th anniversary of one of the most tragic days in modern US history. On September 11, 2001, 19 members of the Islamic extremist organization Al Qaeda conducted a series of brutal, well-orchestrated attacks on American soil. In addition to cutting short the lives of 2,977 innocent people, the tragedy also set in motion events that would change the course of life both in the US and worldwide.

hermionelove5년 이상it is so sad. i read that the passengers tried to stop the terrorist from aiming the Pentagon they stopped them and instead crashed into Pennsylvania. they all died😥😭😭STAY SAFE🚑💗😷

lovetoread265년 이상When I heard about Flight 93's crew and passengers being able to divert the plane it made me incredibly sad, because they knew they were going to die but they still tried to help. I feel terrible for everyone in the buildings that knew they were going to die any way they put it, because there was nothing they could do. I wish I could have been there to help. Another sad thing is how some of the passengers left messages to their loved ones before they died. 😭Thank you to everyone that helped save lives that day. No one died in vain.

- animereina20215년 이상I heard that once one of the twin buildings had crashed, that people that were working in the buildings were trying to evacuate , and even firefighters risked their own lives, some even died trying to save the people in the building. Some people in the building even just jumped out! Some people got out safely, but most died by the crash, and of course just by jumping off of the tall building...😢
