Soft robots, which can move around the ocean without harming sea life, are ideal for underwater exploration. However, they are rarely deployed because they are extremely slow and have a hard time maneuvering through the water. But that may change soon thanks to an innovative, self-propelling soft robot created by researchers at the University of California, San Diego.

                that is very cool but i have seen people say what will happen if something eats it and i can tell maybe what those answers are they might be right or wrong - maybe there is a remote or some control that that can make it move so it a move away from something that wants to eat it - maybe there is some one with it a all times (and that is all i got)

                  that might be hard for someone to control the robot all the time while its in the water, maybe it could have a sensor so it doesnt bump into things and stuff
