However, that is precisely what Newport Coastal Adventures' Captain Ryan Lawler and professional videographer Patrick Coyne witnessed on April 22, 2020, when they set out to explore the spectacular neon blue tides that have been lighting up the waters off Southern California's coast since mid-April.

I would love to see the bioluminescent plankton at night, but if I saw the bioluminescent plankton during the day in the ocean I might think it was a shark attack at first until I got a closer look. But yeah I totally agree with snowthaproduct the ocean is very beautiful and strong!
