Celebrated annually on the third Monday of January, Martin Luther King Jr. Day honors the life and legacy of one of the most influential leaders of the American civil rights movement. Designated a national day of service by the US Congress, the federal holiday encourages citizens to help realize the Baptist minister's vision of a “beloved community” by bridging racial and ethnic barriers, addressing social issues, and volunteering to improve their communities.

animereina20215년 이하Without Martin Luther King, life wouldn't have been the same. There are holidays about certain things we should be celebrating everyday. No I am not literally saying that we should have Christmas everyday, or eat candy to celebrate Halloween everyday. Let me give you an example... Thanksgiving is a time when we should all be appreciating what we already have, and honestly we should be appreciating life everyday. Even if people celebrate by eating a feast, or by any other way, I feel like we shouldn't always have holidays to remind us about this kind of stuff, or even make a big feast to show it. It is nice to have holidays, and I really just think we should be thinking about this. People don't always have to show their gratefulness by cooking a big meal, or any other way either. We can do this everyday(not the cooking a big meal part) by saying how grateful we are and showing it without doing something big. Just appreciate life and live it🙂
