NASA's Artemis program not only hopes to land the next man and the first woman on the lunar south pole by 2024; it also expects them to spend up to seven days in the inhospitable environment, collecting samples and conducting experiments. To provide the pioneering scientists — and future space travelers — with a comfortable shelter, two enterprising Dutch architects have built a habitat capable of withstanding the Moon's harsh conditions.

- pippin54년 이상Whoaaaa!! That’s incredible!! It so clever how they used the art of origami to influence their design and make it more movable, compact, and realistic!! It’s also so amazing how they can fit a lush garden, 2 private quarters, a main space, technology, and a bathroom in there!! Wow! I don’t think I would want to live there for a few months, but this is gonna totally impact how humans will thrive and discover more in space! It may even be the start to promoting space tourism (even though space tourism is not the best idea) and more space exploration!! 🌙 🚀
- blue_fox_7404년 이상Cool! Can I live there? I think it would be awesome!👍👍
- blueprincess4년 이상I know that would be so cool!
- gold3nglare4년 이상I hope and they hurry up and make the rockets to take us to another liable planet.
- the_meep1114년 이상Except for the fact that 1. we haven't even discovered life on another planet and 2. It's probably some 100 thousand light-years away.
- gold3nglare4년 이상actually we have discovered a planet.
- saphege_ems4년 이상we found a place viable for us. it's called plant X i believe.
- gold3nglare4년 이상No I think it was something that started with a K, and ended with an X
- mason1474년 이상that is, I cant even explain how cool that is, the geometry of it is so complex and it is fully funcional too!!!
- theoriginal14년 이상Actually, mason147, if you really look into it, it's not as complex as it seems. To close, it needs to have S-24 which is basically a derivation from an original rhombicosidodecahedron. It's a little less, but it'll still work the same. It needs to have well-compacted air-tight joints to be able to fold into its original closed shape and keep all air-vacuuming jots out. The space in it is so small because any bigger and the joints would break open in every unstable point imaginable. There's a lot more to it, but I'll stop here bc the message is getting really long. Thx for listening.
- 4qua4년 이상I like how they have humans in mind while space traveling. I also love the design😄
- iduuno4년 이상awsome!!!
- nidebodi-1607606635514년 이상it looks nice and cozy
- kurz4년 이상Yes, let's send tourist!!! I'll one of the first!!!
