Every April 22, over a billion people around the world celebrate Earth Day by participating in neighborhood clean-up activities and environmental teach-ins. The planet's largest civic event began in 1970 when twenty million Americans poured out onto the streets to urge lawmakers to take action to protect the environment before it was too late. Now boasting over 50,000 partners in 195 countries, the Earth Day Network (EDN) has led to the establishment of numerous environmental policies, including the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and the Endangered Species Act.

tanqrsketch875년 이상I do agree what everybody is doing to help the earth for earth day but there is more to it than just 1 day to help out.You see life is complicated.Nobody knows how or what created it and there are infinite theories of how it started.And from this day in age with littering and pollution we are bound to be all carbon by the year 2040.And most businesses are trying to stop that from happening.So use reusable things when you can and recycle materials that are able to be used again.Make it earth day everyday.If we want to make a future for the next gen,We have to make a change.Earth is unique- in many ways and the only planet with life itself we know of.We don't have a back up.So live every single day the best you can.And I know this is a serious ted talk.But as the Odd1sout once said.We are young life is fun we gotta make the most of it and enjoy it while it lasts.- vampireboy5년 이상You're right our generation needs to save the world we need to step up and show the world that it is going to change and when i changes we will be responsible for it!
