Norway is a global leader in sustainability. The Nordic country's approximately 5.4 million residents do everything possible to reduce their environmental impact. Hence, it should come as no surprise that it was the venue of choice for the world's first energy-positive hotel.

plem2년 이상I actually built the entire thing by myself. I worked for 14 years straight with a 25 hour shift I only slept on leap year and it is just truly amazing to see my work on the news. adroit_avimimus2년 이상That's amazing! Real sustainability is a hard thing to achieve, but we need to work together to make it happen, just like the 5.4 million residents in Norway! Although a hotel may seem like a waste of money and space, as it really isn't doing anything to save the environment, it will definitely help in the long run! Did you know that the US makes up only 5% of the world population, but it throws away enough plastic bottles in a week to encircle the Earth 5 times? I think we should all work together to do better! Recycle! It may not seem much now but it's all working towards a bigger goal! I'm glad this hotel got a chance to open for the public! Someday I wish to go!
