A flamingo on the "run" from a Wichita, Kansas, zoo for 17 years was recently spotted in Texas. No. 492 and its buddy, No. 347, escaped from the Sedgwick County Zoo in 2005. While No. 347 has disappeared since, No. 492, nicknamed Pink Floyd by Texas officials, has been a frequent visitor to the Lone Star State. The famous fugitive's latest sighting, posted online on March 28, 2022, by the Texas Coastal Fisheries Division, is making headlines worldwide.

              I love this. I love flamingos there so cute, I love how the flamingo was so smart and went south it probably knows how to survive and migrate.

                    Wow they went far! Pretty cool! I wonder how long it took. I mean the flew that far! Imagine. I mean like they where out they wanted to be free! Thankfully the zoo understood and let them be free knowing they will be safe! Thats kind of them! I hope they have a fun life out in the wild! They all made a run for it and im happy all animals should be free! Like Imagine being stuck in a cage all your life with people surounding and taking pictures of you! You wouldn't like it would you?                       no it doesn't work like that some animals just like pandas red pandas and every animal in trouble should stay in a zoo and if a zoo animal escaped it would die because they have never lived in the wild
