A famous portrait of former British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, has been stolen from the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa, Canada. It has been replaced with a copy. The Hollywood-like heist was uncovered on August 19, 2022, after an employee noticed the portrait's frame did not match that of the other photographs in the hotel's reading room.

I mean, thanks to the employee who noticed something seemed wrong about the fake, or it would've been much more longer until someone noticed, by then the thief would've already gotten away with the crime! I hope they find out who stole the picture, it's a priceless piece of history! Some facts about the person in the picture, Winston Churchill; Winston Churchill received a Nobel Prize… for literature! Did you also know that the first known use of ‘OMG’ was in a letter to Winston Churchill? That's something to think about haha!
