On September 26, 2022, NASA's golf cart-sized DART (Double Asteroid Redirection Test) spacecraft intentionally crashed into a distant asteroid. The spectacular collision, observed by telescopes worldwide, was NASA's first practical attempt to alter the path of an asteroid. The $325 million mission was part of the space agency's overall planetary defense strategy to protect Earth from the impact of an errant space rock.

cameronn3년 이하i don't know why you guys are even saying wow that's so cool like it was a test and the asteroid wasn't even going to hit the earth and even if it was wouldn't that be a good thing because all us humans do is polut and leave trash and destroy the would so yea
myself12년 이상But there are a lot of good people in the world aswell, and even though the asteroid wasn’t a threat to earth it was good that they tested on it to save our lives, plus this is nasa we’re talking about, I think that they know what their doing.
