Tokitae, or Toki, the oldest killer whale in captivity, will finally be released to her "home waters" in Puget Sound, off Washington State. The 57-year-old orca, nicknamed Lolita, was captured when she was four and sold to the Miami Seaquarium in Florida. She entertained park visitors for over five decades before retiring in 2022.

- oddgnat약 2년In the article it says, 'Toki will be reintroduced to the wild gradually.' so she probably will be able to learn how to survive slowly and be reintroduced.
- killo약 2년She should be free
- lydiatheslay약 2년i think of they just allowed the whale to be free it would die like almost instantly by other predators because it was trapped in an enclosure for so many years but they were smart about it and now they monitor them so they make sure they stay safe
- oddgnat약 2년It's a bit sad that they kept her for so long, i hope she is okay in the wild.
- rihumonefyry약 2년I like killer whales so i happy for him/her. 53 years of being trapped is crazy.
