There is a close link between smells and memories (Credit: Kids.frontiers.org/ CC-By-SA-2.0)

We have all experienced the strong link between smell and memory. A whiff of chlorine probably reminds you of summer pool parties, while the scent of flowers may bring back memories of your grandma's garden. Now, researchers from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) have found that breathing in pleasant aromas could even help improve memory and learning.

That is crazy how we can literally remember things from our past, just by smelling a good scent. I wonder to what extent or how far you can remember back in your life?

When I watch naruto and stuff I always remember a certain smell I had the first time I watched it. It's pretty cool!

Huh that's weird I don't think we all have experienced that I can never smell anything I don't know why and I don't think I've ever thought of a memory just by smell

Maybe smelling things may help people with memory loss.
