Giant squids, the kind referred to in Jules Verne's 1870 novel, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, have been known to exist for many centuries. However, finding the world's largest invertebrate in its natural habitat had proved a little elusive. Now, thanks to some patient Japanese researchers, we can all finally get a glimpse of this magnificent cephalopod!

oysterbrain약 13년WOW! It is so cool that a squid can be larger than a human and almost as big as a whale! I think it is good that scientists are discovering this because we can know more things and have a better knowledge about nature (sea animals). I don’t like this because it may hurt them and maybe one day, all of the awesome and mysterious sea creatures (animals) will be extinct.
